About Us: Thornhill House is a small, friendly care home situated in the heart of a Peak District village, managed by a local charitable trust for the benefit of the community. It offers 19 purpose-built rooms, for both permanent and respite residents.

With plans to relocate and expand to 26 beds and more services, this position provides an excellent opportunity to help shape the home’s future.
/n
We are currently looking for an Experienced Manager for our Care Home with Nursing. A successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse and, preferably, hold a care management qualification
/n
Key Responsibilities include:
/n
- Oversee the daily running of the care home, ensuring consistently high standards of care and support, and reporting regularly to the Trustees.
/n
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant health and social care legislation.
/n
- Promote a positive, open, and supportive culture for both residents and staff.
/n
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans that meet each resident’s individual needs.
/n
- Lead, support, and supervise care staff, providing clear guidance, training, and ongoing development.
/n
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and resources to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
/n
- Ensure safe and accurate medication management in line with legal and organisational requirements.
/n
- Work closely with families, GPs and community teams
