You will be a key member of the cardiorespiratory team, supporting trained Physiologists providing cardiac diagnostic tests such as 24hr and 7-day Holter monitors, 24hr blood pressure monitoring, angiograms and pacing, in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.This role is ideally suited to a Care Support Worker who is completely Patient Focused, with a caring and compassionate attitude who would like to progress their career in a fast-paced cardiology department. Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Care Support Worker you will:Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actionsWork as a team assisting with the day to day running of clinicsChaperone patients in clinicsMonitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight prior to clinic appointmentsEnsure that your own professional development is maintained and enhancedPerson SpecificationEssential Have a good standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skillsHold a Care CertificateHave proven communication skillsDemonstrate basic IT skillsHave experience working in the Care Sector as either a Care Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Clinical Support WorkerDesirable Hold and NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social CareHave experience working as a Care Assistant, Clinical Supprot Worker or Care Support Worker in an acute healthcare settingHave experience undertaking ECG'sHave Phlebotomy experienceKIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent.
