The role We are looking for a passionate Care worker to join Southern Housing! As a Care Worker you will work as part of the team providing person centred care & support to residents living at Byrnhill Grove, our Registered Care Home in Ventnor. Youll be flexible to respond to their individual needs, assisting them with intimate personal care when required and ensuring their environment is safe and secure, following health and safety requirements and carrying out care plans and risk assessments. You must be physically able to undertake manual handling, and you will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Services check. This is a full time permanent role. You will be based at our Byrnhill Grove scheme, Ventnor, Isle of Wight What youll be doing Provide care to residents and people who use our services, as identified in their person-centred care plan.
