As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you will support older people to live with dignity, comfort and independence. You will be part of a supportive team where the care you provide makes a genuine difference every day.
What your day could involve

About you
You are caring, patient and reliable, with a strong respect for dignity in care. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or be willing to work towards it, have basic IT skills, be registered with the SSSC and be a member of the PVG Scheme. You are comfortable working within our Christian ethos. This post is subject to an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder is a practising Christian.

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
