Working as part of a team you will provide the facilities management for the Family Hubs across the borough, in line with the standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for the maintenance of site security, opening and closing buildings and ensuring all facilities in and around the buildings are in excellent condition, safe, secure and clean at all times, and that all equipment is maintained, and resources are available. Duties include: General repairs and maintenance. Manual handling. General upkeep of the building and ground maintenance. Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant department. Undertake fire safety and general health and safety checks to the building. An essential car user allowance is payable as boroughwide travel across centres is required. You will work as part of a rota, so a flexible approach to work is essential. The rota operates between the hours of 7am and 6.30pm with some later opening times up until 9pm on a shared shift rota and Saturday working on a shared rota.
