Key Responsibilities Open and close the school site daily, ensuring security procedures are followed Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks Ensure the school grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained Conduct regular health & safety checks and report hazards Manage site security, including alarms and access control Support with room setups for events and school activities Liaise with contractors and monitor work on site Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery tasks where required Requirements Proven experience as a caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities assistant, ideally within a school environment Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures Ability to carry out maintenance and repairs independently Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload effectively Good communication skills and a professional approach Must be job-ready and able to start immediately
