Job Title: School Caretaker Location: South Manchester Salary: Flexible Contract Type: Full-time, long term (possible Temp to Permanent opportunity) ________________________________________ About the Role We at Aspire People are delighted to announce we are now working alongside a primary school in South Manchester who are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our premises. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Working hours 7am-3pm but negotiable. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities * Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained. * Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks. * Monitor security systems and ensure premises are secure. * Manage waste disposal and recycling. * Report any issues or hazards promptly. ________________________________________ Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable. * Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Good communication skills and a positive attitude. * Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks. ________________________________________ What do you need to apply? * Enhanced DBS on the update Service (We can help you apply!) * Education Workforce Council application (We can help you apply!) * 2 referee's which are able to provide references
