Carpenter (Multi-Trader) Coventry, West Midlands£18.00 - £20.00 + per hour (depending on experience)PERMANENT POSITION - (No contractors or self-employed positions available)A well-established and successful facilities management company based in Coventry are currently looking for an experienced and Multi-skilled Carpenter to join their team on a permanent basis.Qualifications & Experience required:City & Guilds Level 2 Carpentry qualification is essentialCSCS Card is essentialClean UK Driving Licence is requiredCarpentry experience ideally in a property maintenance or facilities management setting would be ideal but similar commercial or fit-out work would also be consideredExperience of carrying out a variety of multi-skilled maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and installations including plumbing, fabric maintenance, basic electrical jobs, painting & decorating etc. will be required Duties will include:Travelling to commercial sites across the wider Midlands region and sometimes UK wide when requiredUndertaking a wide range of carpentry tasks including but not limited to hanging doors, fitting skirting and architraves, cabinetry, shelving, flooring, roofing, imited to re-fixing door handles, loose hinges, cupboard doors, shower fixings and hand rails, basic plumbing repairs and replacement fittings, toilet seat replacements, re-fixing carpet/carpet tiles etc.Full office refurbishments including; fitting of skirting and architrave, hanging doors, toilet cubicle installation, IPS panel installations, installation of digital locks, hanging new blinds, ceiling grid installs, etc.General landscaping and outside area modifications if requiredUndertaking further training when necessary to be able to deliver the best possible customer serviceKeeping relevant job information up to date using tablet / laptopCommunicating well with both customers and internal staff to keep everyone fully informed of job progress or issues found etc.Carrying out the job correctly, and on a right the first time basis, within a pre-determined timescaleSkills or Personal Attributes welcomed:A passion for delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of customersHave a proactive approach to carpentry and maintenance and building management workAbility to read and understand instructions and app-based softwareThe ability to work within a team and alone as required depending on the job at handHave a confident, enthusiastic and pro-active attitude towards workWanting to achieve success, for him/herself, the business, and the customersA flexible approach to work and working hours (within Working Directives)Additional Information:This position is a PAYE permanent job role which will likely suit candidates previously working in an employed (non-contractor) position.Working hours are: 40 per week (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with 30 mins lunch break)Company van and tablet etc. is provided28 Days holiday including Bank holidaysIf you are looking for your next challenge, in a permanent secure position, with a friendly and supportive company, then please get in touch for more information.JBRP1_UKTJ
