Carpenter – Partitions, 1st & 2nd Fix Luxury Residential Refurbishments Primary site: Notting Hill | Projects across West London
Join a skilled, professional construction team delivering exceptional luxury residential refurbishments in some of London’s most prestigious postcodes. We are looking for an experienced Carpenter specialising in partitions, 1st fix, and 2nd fix carpentry to work on high-end residential projects.
What you'll be doing:
* Constructing and installing timber and metal stud partitions and walls
* 1st fix carpentry including framing, joist installation, structural timber work, and basic temporary works
* 2nd fix carpentry including hanging doors, fitting architraves, skirting, ironmongery, and finishing joinery
* Installing flat-pack kitchens, wardrobes, and other joinery items
* Assisting with general site carpentry and supporting specialist trades to maintain project momentum and quality
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised site while strictly adhering to health & safety protocols
* Always wearing full PPE and upholding the highest standards of workmanship in a luxury environment
What we're looking for:
* Valid CSCS card (Carpenter or equivalent)
* Solid, proven experience as a Carpenter with strong skills in partitions, 1st fix, and 2nd fix carpentry
* Previous experience on high-end residential refurbishment projects is highly desirable
* Ability to work accurately and to a premium finish in luxury properties
* Reliable, punctual, proactive, and hardworking with a strong team-player attitude
* Able to commute reliably to Notting Hill (main base) and other West/South West London sites
Preferred skills / experience (the more you have, the better):
* Timber and metal stud framing & partitions
* Plasterboarding and dry lining support
* Joist installation and structural carpentry
* Hanging doors, fitting skirtings, architraves, and ironmongery
* Flat-pack kitchen and bedroom furniture installation
* Basic temporary works and site carpentry
* Experience with high-spec residential demolition and strip-out
