About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter / Multi-Trader to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works in occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all aspects of carpentry work including doors, kitchens, flooring, and repairs
Complete multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and decorating
Perform responsive and planned maintenance in social housing properties
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants’ homes
Accurately record job details and materials used
Requirements
Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trader, ideally within social housing
Strong carpentry skills with additional trade knowledge
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Good communication and customer service skills
Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) preferred but not essential with strong experience...
