Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures within the facilities.

Collaborate with the Facilities and Environmental Services team to ensure all carpentry work meets the required standards and specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to accurately execute projects.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.

Assist in the planning and execution of projects, providing input on materials and timelines.

Person Specification

Proven experience in carpentry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
