Must be able to drive - location not suitable by public transport. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen technician to join our successful catering contract at West Kent Golf Club. You will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and guest services to golfers and members. Your role will involve working in the kitchen preparing, cooking and serving a range of hot, cold and ready to eat food as well as coffees. If you have a passion for food preparation and creating long term relationships with members of a private members golf club then this job is perfect for you. Shift pattern is: 2 weekdays to be confirmed at 6 hours per shift Saturday 8-5 21 hours per week 4 week month pay £1092.00 5 week month pay £1365.00 Additional shifts will be available if wanted. Duties: Open up and prepare kitchen for snack menu Prepare and serve a variety of food items Close down the kitchen at the end of the day Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met during food preparation and service Maintain stock of supplies and ingredients, ensuring timely restocking and communicate stock levels and stock need to the manager Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any guest concerns or requests Skills: Knowledge of various cooking techniques Excellent organisation and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks Attention to detail to ensure the food served is always of a high-quality Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients, guests, and team members Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Previous experience in catering or hospitality is mandatory Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Company events Company pension Discounted or free food Free parking On-site parking Experience: Catering: 5 years (preferred)
