Ensuring that quality is delivered consistently, compliance with food safety standards, and alignment with GLLs and customer expectations. Thecatering Manager will focus on menu development, cost control, stafftrainingand supplier relation management to maximise customer and client satisfaction and profitability.Whatyoulldo:Overseeing the mobilisation of new catering offering for National Squash and Regional Arena.Monitoring performanceBudgetingand resource managementPlacing orders for stockTraining & development of staffAssistin the recruitment of key staffKeeping up to date withcompetitors'products & business trendsReporting to Senior ManagersCompliance and safetyStrategic product development and support for all aspects of cateringSupporting operations within the café team.What you need:Knowledge of key performance indicators in the catering industry and their application and how they can be used to effect improvement.Up to date knowledge of developments in the catering industry.Willingness to promote Health & Safety Policy and a practical awareness of how to promote them.Prior experience working in awithin the cateringindustryAs a charitable social enterprise and cooperative owned by our staff, GLL is a unique organisation for you to have a career with!The basics:This is a full time contract working 39 hours per week.Working Monday to Friday with theoccasionalweekendWe are an accredited Living Wage employer with industry leading rates of payWe can offer a career, not just a job with extensive Learning & development support available.A uniform will be supplied and must be wornGLL is Values Driven, not Profit Driven.
