Catering Sales & Events Executive - Horse Racing Division - Leopardstown, The Curragh and Fairyhouse

Up to €37000 + Performance Related Bonus & Excellent Benefits

Overall Purpose of the Role
To drive race day and non-race day revenue by securing new meetings and events business and growing existing key accounts, in line with the sales and marketing plan. The role operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment and reports to the Sales & Events Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
Proactively source and secure new meetings and events business

Grow and manage allocated key accounts

Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracting

Prepare proposals, contracts, invoices, and follow up on payments

Attend networking and trade events when required

Maintain accurate records using Salesforce/Delphi

Event Management
Deliver events from enquiry to completion and post-event follow up

Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery

Manage diaries, event briefs, BEOs, deposits, and billing

Support the wider sales team with event administration

Ideal Candidate Experience in hospitality sales or events (venue, hotel, or agency)

Commercially aware, proactive, and results driven

Strong communication, organisation, and planning skills

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment

Customer-focused with strong attention to detail

Confident using Microsoft Office (Delphi desirable)

Experience in a proactive sales role

Flexible to work 5 days over 7
