Catering Supervisor

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-established private school in Thatcham for an
experienced Catering Supervisor to lead the smooth and professional delivery of daily meals.

This is a hands-on, leadership role for someone organised, reliable, and confident in managing a
team within a structured environment. If you take pride in quality, consistency, and impeccable

Location: Cold Ash, Thatcham
Full Time Position - 40hrs / week, working 5 out of 7 days (includes 1 day weekend)
Hours alternate weekly between 6.30am to 3pm & 12pm to 8.30pm
Salary - £28,500.00 - £29,188.00 per annum

Supervise front-of-house staffs and Kitchen Porters.
Ensure clean, well-prepared service areas.
Deliver excellent customer service and support events.
Lead briefings, monitor staff, and manage records (HACCP, temperatures, checklists).
Assist with stock, ordering, training, and departmental improvements.

Has catering experience (including large numbers).
Works confidently under pressure, independently and as a team player.
Maintains high hygiene and food safety standards.
Has reliable transport for their semi-rural location.

Nice to have: Similar supervisory experience, Level 2 & 3 Food Safety, proactive attitude,
safeguarding commitment.
