Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Cell Leader to join their growing team, close to Farnborough. The Cell Leader will be responsible for the Paint shop and lead a team of 5 people working in the team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day people management, including performance appraisals and identifying training requirements. The Cell Leader is responsible for developing plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment. Duties & responsibilities: • Ensuring the lean principles are embedded in the department and providing continuous improvement solutions • Ensuring production efficiencies are communicated throughout the team and that they are met in line with staffing levels available • Ensuring staffing levels are reviewed periodically and action is taken to meet the forward production plan • Communicating clearly and effectively with your team to ensure they are aware of production priorities, and the schedule is being adhered to, in conjunction with the Factory plan. • Ensuring quality standards are communicated throughout the team and are adhered to at all times • Ensuring all health & safety requirements are communicated and adhered to. • Keeping track of shelf life for paints • Managing day to day personnel issues within the department. • Promoting and maintain good housekeeping and ensuring the environment is safe and clean at all times in line with 7s • ...
