At Mayfield Early Education Sydenham we are searching for a highly experienced, efficient and driven Centre Manager to guide our team and rebuild this Centre to be the best it can be – where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Responsibilities

Lead and support a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace. Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, maintaining high standards of child safety and wellbeing. Implement the Centre’s vision and philosophy, consistently enhancing the learning environment. Drive continuous improvement of programs, processes and facilities in line with EYLF, NQS and Child Safe Standards. Serve as a role model for professional conduct, communication and organisational excellence. Build strong relationships with families and the local community, promoting the Centre’s values.

Qualifications

Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor equivalent in Early Childhood Education. Valid WWCC and current First Aid or CPR Certificate. Knowledge of Child Safe Standards, EYLF, and NQS. Training in child protection, Red Nose and food safety (or willingness to obtain). Exceptional communication, organisational and leadership skills. A drive to rebuild and grow a thriving Centre. Proactive, collaborative spirit with a passion for excellence in early education. Previous experience in a Centre Manager role is a must.
