Centre Manager – Automotive Location: Midsomer Morton Salary: Up to £38,000 basic + £10,000 bonus Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Day off in the week when working Saturdays 30439 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Centre Manager to join a well‑established automotive fast‑fit business in the Midsomer Norton area. Role As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong financial results, and smooth day‑to‑day operations. You’ll lead a team of 12 staff (10 productive), driving both performance and engagement. Key responsibilities
Managing the daily operations of the centre to achieve business targets Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards Leading, motivating, and developing a team of technicians and front‑of‑house staff Driving sales performance and maximising revenue opportunitiesEnsuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations Managing stock control, costs, and overall centre profitability Monitoring performance and implementing improvements where needed
This aligns with the core focus of the role around customer excellence, financial performance, operational control, and people management. Requirements
Previous experience as a Centre Manager / Assistant Manager within a fast‑fit or automotive environment Strong leadership and team management skills Proven track record in a sales‑driven environment Good technical/mechanical understanding Commercial awareness with the ability to drive performance Excellent customer service and communication skills
