Role at a Glance

Position: CFO (Chief Finance Officer)

Responsibilities

  • Build reporting - real-time dashboards and management information to run the day-to-day business, and report at Board level
  • Navigate a hybrid model with agency retainers and SaaS subscriptions, each with different economics
  • Identify growth opportunities and leverage data to inform strategic decisions
  • Prepare the business for exit — clean books, compelling story, data room readiness, and due-diligence readiness
  • Lead financial processes, build robust controls, and embed best practices to support scalable growth

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Hands-on financial leadership with scaling tech companies; experience with a sale or significant funding round
  • Fluent in SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, NRR, LTV:CAC); comfortable with rapid expansion, funding rounds, and exit-readiness
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to Leeds, or onsite 2 days per week; able to work with a leadership team to shape the business from inside
  • Broad perspective with SaaS and professional services experience; exposure to M&A; commitment to balancing performance with purpose
