Chair of the Industry Forum Homeworking with some travel to Birmingham Fixed term for three years for a short-term piece of work Part-time, 0.05 full-time equivalent £500 per day (up to 14 days per annum)
The role:
The Gambling Commission established the Industry Forum in 2024 to sit alongside existing stakeholder engagement and provide insight and evidence from the industry we regulate. We are appointing a Chair to the Industry Forum to lead forum meetings and engage with Commission staff and Commissioners, drawing insight from forum members in a way that helps to develop the Commissions regulatory work. The role will be for a three-year term, paid at a daily rate of £500.
Your responsibilities:
In this role, were looking for someone with a background in and understanding of the gambling industry, and who can meet the requirements of our Managing Conflicts of Interest policy.
You will have experience of managing groups of people to facilitate high-quality engagement from a range of different viewpoints.
You will be able to build effective working relationships and communicate clearly and with impact to a range of audiences, often including senior stakeholders.
