As a Changing Futures - Independent Advocate, you need to be non-judgmental and understand the power and importance of kindness and showing respect in order to receive it. You need to be able to put yourself in the shoes of the people that the Changing Futures programme will be supporting and be committed to seeing the person and not the label. You also need to be committed to challenging inequality, understanding that inequality, including racial inequality, and experience of discrimination can have a big impact on a persons life and on how they engage with services and the support available.

Hours of Work: 2x Part-Time: 18.5 hours, working between Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Location: Home based with travel around the Nottinghamshire Borough. (Applicants must live within the area; have a full drivers licence and access to their own transport)

Salary: Part time salary £12,727.00 ( Full time Salary Equivalent £25,454.00 per annum)
