Mactech are seeking experienced Chargehand Welder's to support safe and high-quality site delivery at Hinkley Point CKey Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate welders on structural steel projectsCarry out high-quality MMA (Stick) welding on carbon steelInterpret engineering drawingsEnsure all welding work complies with site quality standards, inspection requirements, and project specificationsPromote strict health & safety standards in line with site regulations What you will need Proven experience as a Chargehand or Lead WelderStrong background in MMA structural welding (carbon steel)Minimum of Level 2 Apprenticeship in Welding discipline or Level 2 Diploma in a welding disciplineCCNSG CardAbility to read and interpret structural fabrication drawingsExcellent understanding of site safety and quality complianceStrong communication and leadership skillsThe ability to pass a multi fillet MMA weld test What is in it for you Excellent rates, in line with the ECSA site agreement10/4 rotationLong-term opportunityThe chance be part of the team building the UK's largest nuclear power station to date.
