An established real estate consultancy is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its expanding London team. This role offers the chance to work on a strong pipeline of high-profile refurbishment and ESG-led projects, primarily within the industrial and real estate space.
This is an ideal opportunity for a surveyor looking to hit the ground running, take ownership of key client relationships, and help drive the delivery of projects ranging from £250K up to £10m. The successful candidate will have had prior exposure to areas of professional surveying such as dilapidations, party wall, and project monitoring work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of refurbishment projects, primarily within the industrial and logistics sector.
- Manage a portfolio of work, acting as the main point of contact for key clients.
- Take projects from inception to completion, including specifications, budgeting, invoicing, and programme delivery.
- Support and mentor junior colleagues and actively contribute to service development.
- Drive business development activities, including cross-selling services and building your own client base.
- Provide excellent client care and maintain strong, long-term stakeholder relationships.
Candidate Requirements
- MRICS qualified with strong technical delivery capability.
- Proven experience in managing refurbishment and fit-out projects up to £10m+.
- Commercially aware, with specific exposure to the industrial/logistics sector.
- Confident leading projects and managing client relationships independently.
