Chartered Associate Fire Engineer\n\nA leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Chartered Associate Fire Engineer to join their established fire engineering team in Birmingham or Manchester. This organisation works on complex, high-profile projects across the built environment and is now looking to strengthen its senior technical capability due to continued growth.\n\nChartered Associate Fire Engineer - Role\n\nAs a Chartered Associate Fire Engineer, you will be a key member of the fire engineering discipline, able to lead medium-to-large projects and support the delivery of complex fire strategies across multiple sectors. Your role will include:\n\nLeading the delivery of fire engineering design, fire strategy development and engineered solutions\nOverseeing modelling outputs, including CFD analysis and evacuation modelling, ensuring technical accuracy and quality\nManaging and coordinating project teams, acting as technical lead and senior point of contact for clients\nMentoring and supervising Graduate and Intermediate Engineers, supporting their pathway to chartership\nProviding expert guidance on building regulations, fire safety standards and legislative compliance\nAssist with tender submissions and PQQ completions\nEngaging confidently with clients, design teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes\nSupporting business development activities and contributing to continued growth within the region\nDriving technical excellence and contributing to internal standards, procedures and best practiceChartered Fire Engineer / Associate Fire Engineer Requirements\n\nChartered Engineer (CEng) status - essential\nExtensive experience working as a Chartered Associate Fire Engineer or equivalent senior-level position\nStrong technical capability in fire engineering design, modelling, and development of fire strategies\nProficiency with modelling tools\nExcellent understanding of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations and industry guidance\nDemonstrable experience managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams\nStrong communication and consultancy skills, with confidence engaging clients at senior level\nAbility to support and mentor engineers progressing toward chartership\nDesire to contribute to technical excellence, innovation and long-term business growth \n\nWhat's On Offer?\n\nSalary: £90,000+\n\nCompany Share Scheme.\nPathway to Partnership\nEmployee-owned consultancy - Bonus benefit of up to £3,600 tax free\nHybrid Working.\n28 days holiday plus bank holidays\nFlexible holidays - you can purchase up to an additional 5 days.\nEmployee Bonus Scheme.\nDeath in Service benefit up to 6 times basic salary.\nPrivate Medical treatment - possible to extend to family cover at additional cost.\nCompany long term sickness scheme - 100% basic salary for first 13 weeks of illness.\nGroup Income Protection Scheme - follows long term sickness scheme subject to Insurers rules and regulations.\nEmployee Assistance Programme - expert information and advisory services.\nSeason Ticket Loans.\nMaternity Pay and Paternity Pay.\nGym Membership Loans.\nPrimary Annual Professional Subscription covered (RICS which can be claimed back on expenses).\nAttractive Recruitment Referral Bonus - Up to the value of £5,000.If you are a Chartered Fire Engineer, considering your opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James.
