Job Description:

They are seeking a Chartered Principal/Associate Structural Engineer (MICE or IStructE) to lead some of the UK's most technically complex projects. This role offers an opportunity to step into an Associate-level leadership position, guiding multidisciplinary teams, shaping design strategies, and contributing to business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Acting as technical lead on major civil/structural projects
  2. Overseeing design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs
  3. Providing guidance to junior team members
  4. Leading bids, proposals, and business development efforts
  5. Assuming leadership roles such as CRE (Contractor's Responsible Engineer)
  6. Supporting commercial responsibilities, including project profitability

Person Specification:

Candidates must be Chartered Engineers (CEng) through IStructE or ICE. Proven leadership, team management, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary coordination skills are essential. Commercial awareness and strategic growth contributions are desirable.

Benefits include:

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
