Chartered Senior Engineer – Surface & Highways Structures Location: London & across network Employer: Morson Edge – Recruiting on behalf of a major public sector organisation Contract: Long-term contract opportunity (current portfolio has years of programmes) Rate: Band 3+ (senior level) upto £520 per day umbrella inside ir35 About the Role Morson Edge are proud to partner with a major public sector infrastructure organisation to recruit an experienced Charered Senior Engineer to support the delivery and assurance of complex civil and structural works across their Surface & Highways Structures portfolio. This is a delivery-focused, site-based engineering role where you will provide technical leadership, undertake independent assurance of permanent works, and guide B3 Engineers across a wide range of structural and highways projects. Key Responsibilities Lead independent inspection and technical assurance of reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, and highways structures. Verify permanent works against design, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Oversee and support B3 Engineers and other site-based staff. Review contractor ITPs, method statements and technical submissions. Identify, escalate and manage non-conformances and quality issues.
