The Red Lion Inn is a charming traditional country pub in the heart of the picturesque village of Poppleton, conveniently located on the A59.Under new management, we pride ourselves on serving quality British pub classics, fresh seasonal dishes, and a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.

About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to help deliver great-tasting, high-quality food in a busy pub environment. You will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen, from preparing fresh ingredients, kitchen management and plating dishes that keep our customers coming back!

Ideal Candidate

• Previous kitchen experience desirable but not essential as full training given
• Must be Passion about cooking quality British pub food
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• A committed team player with a positive attitude
• Must be commutable within 10 to 12 miles ofYO26 6PR

Shift Pattern

• Wednesday to Sunday (5 days per week)
• Monday and Tuesday off every week
• One weekend off per month

Hours & Pay

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Hourly rate:£15 £18 per hour(depending on experience)
