About the Role We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Pendulum Hotel & Manchester Conference Centre. This role is primarily focused on delivering high-quality food for our busy conference and events business, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellent presentation at all times.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, working closely with senior chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard

Take responsibility for a designated section within the kitchen

Support the delivery of conference and banqueting services

Ensure all food is prepared in line with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste

Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams

Maintain a clean and organised working environment

About You Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up

Experience in conference, banqueting, or high-volume catering is highly desirable

A passion for food and attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong organisational and teamwork skills

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

What We Offer Competitive salary of £27,447.24 per annum

Full-time, stable hours (40 hours per week)
