An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join a well-established, family-owned 3-star hotel in Blairgowrie. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression within a professional and supportive kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations
Prepare and cook dishes within the assigned section to a high standard
Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
Assist with preparation of ingredients before service
Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
Contribute ideas for menu development, focusing on fresh food
Teamwork & Section Support
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient service
Support and guide junior kitchen team members
Maintain a well-organised and prepared section at all times
Promote a positive team culture and collaborative environment
Standards, Hygiene & Compliance
Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and waste control
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Uphold the hotels quality and service standards
Skills, Experience & Competencies
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a fine dining environment
Passion for fresh food and delivering high-quality menus
Strong knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Professional approach with a strong attention to detail
Fluent in English
