Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) - Consulting (Change, Transformation, Quality Assurance) Location: London (Hybrid) | Type: Full-time | Package: Executive base + bonus/incentive Our specialist change and transformation consultancy client is hiring a Chief Commercial Officer to lead and accelerate commercial growth across the business. This is a high-impact executive role for a proven commercial leader who can shape go-to-market strategy, build a high-performing sales function, and drive revenue across consulting, managed services and outcome-based delivery models. The firm supports Banking, Financial Services and Insurance clients, with services spanning Change Execution, Managed Services / Change Partner, Joint Venture (risk/reward), and Change Advisory & Assurance, underpinned by strong capability in PMO, Enterprise Analysis, Technical Analysis, Business Data Analysis and Testing & Quality Assurance. About the opportunity: You’ll own the commercial agenda and lead growth across the consultancy’s core service lines, including:
Change Execution Managed Services / Change Partner Change Advisory & Assurance Testing & Quality Assurance Business & Data Analysis
This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role focused on building pipeline, improving conversion performance, strengthening market positioning, and driving long‑term client value. What you’ll be doing:
Define and lead the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth across consulting and managed services Own the end‑to‑end commercial function: pipeline generation, sales execution, forecasting, and conversion performance Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing business development / sales capability Develop go‑to‑market propositions across change delivery, testing & QA, PMO, advisory, and assurance services Engage C‑level and senior stakeholders to shape outcomes‑led solutions in enterprise accounts Partner closely with delivery leaders and SMEs to create compelling proposals, SOWs, and commercial models Drive strategic account growth, renewals, and multi‑service expansion across key clients Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, and routes to revenue Strengthen commercial discipline across CRM, reporting, forecasting, and sales governance Contribute to wider leadership decisions as a key member of the senior team, helping shape business direction and growth investment priorities
What our client is looking for:
Proven commercial leadership experience in consulting / professional services Strong track record of driving revenue growth in change, transformation, technology, or change assurance‑led services Experience building and leading sales / commercial teams, with clear evidence of performance improvement Strong enterprise sales capability, including complex multi‑stakeholder consulting sales cycles Commercially astute with experience structuring: Managed service agreements Retainers Frameworks Outcome‑based / risk‑reward commercial models Credible and confident with C‑suite stakeholders across technology, operations, change, risk, and transformation functions Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, execution‑focused leadership style Strong communication and proposition development skills (executive‑level messaging, proposals, commercial positioning)
Nice to have:
Existing network across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors Experience selling into regulated industries and complex transformation environments Exposure to testing / QA, PMO, and change delivery service lines Experience scaling a consultancy or driving a step‑change in commercial maturity Familiarity with advisory and assurance propositions in enterprise programmes
