CFO - PE Buy & Build Remote - Occasional Travel £150,000 - £180,000 + Equity

A privately backed investment group is building a new IT-focused platform, backed by significant equity and a strong acquisition pipeline. The team, made up of experienced entrepreneurs and operators, has a track record of scaling businesses through M&A and organic growth.

They are seeking a CFO to build the finance function, lead integration, and support the business through rapid expansion. The role will work closely with an M&A lead and will evolve as the platform expands internationally.

Key Responsibilities: Define and deliver a long-term financial strategy aligned with commercial objectives, contributing to wider business planning and decision-making. Oversee financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management and scenario modelling. Establish scalable, efficient financial processes and systems to support rapid growth and integration of acquired companies.
