We are currently recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Workers to join a well-established organisation in Ashford, Kent that provides homes, schools and therapeutic services for children and young people who have experienced trauma, adversity and disrupted relationships.

About the Role
As a Residential Care Worker, you will support the emotional, social, behavioural and educational development of children and young people within residential homes and, at times, within the school environment.
You will play a vital role in daily life — helping young people feel safe, valued and understood while contributing to care planning, structured routines and meaningful experiences.
This role operates on a rota basis and includes participation in sleep-in duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the emotional, social, behavioural and educational needs of young people
* Help implement care plans, education plans and individual strategies
* Contribute to a safe, nurturing and trauma-informed home environment
* Support daily routines, activities, learning and social opportunities
* Build trusting, positive and supportive relationships
We are looking for someone who is:
* Compassionate, patient and emotionally resilient
* A strong team player who is open to learning and development
* Confident working in a trauma-informed environment
Essential Requirements
* Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already held)
* Genuine interest in supporting vulnerable children and young people
* Full UK driving licence
* 6 months experience working in Residential care
