The Registered Manager will lead and manage all aspects of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and high-quality care. The manager is responsible for staff supervision, operational management, and the wellbeing of children. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operation of the children’s home and ensure it meets all regulatory requirements

Lead, manage, and supervise support staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times

*

Ensure children’s care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management plans are implemented effectively

*

Promote positive outcomes for children, including education, emotional development, and social skills

*

Monitor safeguarding, health, and safety standards within the home

*

Maintain accurate records, logs, and statutory reports

*

Liaise with social workers, families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies

*

Lead staff training, supervision, and appraisals

*

Manage the budget, resources, and maintenance of the home

*

Prepare for Ofsted inspections and respond to recommendations
