Registered Manager Solo Childrens Home| Mansfield | £50k-£60k + Bonus

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new solo childrens home near Mansfield. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-quality, therapeutic environment for a child with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) from day one.

Location:Mansfield
Salary:£50,000 £60,000 + performance-related bonus up to £6,000
Hours:Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday Friday, 9am-5pm)

What Were Looking For:

  • Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience in childrens residential care (EBD/solo care preferred)

  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete)

  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Childrens Homes legislation, and safeguarding standards

  • Compassionate, resilient, and capable of establishing a positive culture

  • Committed to trauma-informed, therapeutic care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Ofsted registration and launch of the home

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a small therapeutic team

  • Provide tailored care for one child with complex needs

  • Ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards

  • Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and professionals

  • Promote a culture of reflection, stability, and long-term positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Good English communication skills for records and safeguarding

  • Full Enhanced DBS Check
