About the Role We are recruiting for a Childrens Home Registered Manager to lead and inspire a residential team delivering therapeutic, child-centred care. This role will see you take full responsibility for managing the home, leading staff, and ensuring young people receive safe, nurturing, and high-quality support.
You will play a key role in maintaining strong standards, achieving positive outcomes for children, and ensuring the home meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a childrens residential home
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
Inspire, motivate, and develop a skilled staff team
Promote a therapeutic, safe, and nurturing home environment
Manage performance, staffing, and service delivery
Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders
Maintain occupancy targets and positive inspection outcomes
Drive continuous improvement and high-quality care
Salary & Benefits Salary: £42,500 £47,500 per annum
Quarterly performance bonuses (up to £18,000 annually based on occupancy and Ofsted outcomes)
£5,000 relocation package available
224 hours annual leave increasing to 248 hours after 4 years

Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in residential childcare
At least 2 years experience supervising and managing staff
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
Proven record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
