We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national provider of specialist children’s services for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Children’s Complex Care home.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager or an aspiring leader ready to take the next step in their career within children’s residential care. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-quality service that delivers safe, therapeutic and child-centred care.
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, management and development of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Requirements
A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people in care.
Minimum 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care.
At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role within the last 5 years.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to enrol within 6 months).
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations.
Experience in team leadership, planning, organisation, resource management and budget oversight.
Confidence in written and verbal communication.
Understanding of trauma-informed care and supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Full UK driving licence.
