About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Childrens Home Registered Manager to lead and inspire a residential team delivering high-quality, therapeutic care. This is an opportunity to manage your own home, build a strong staff team, and ensure children and young people receive safe, nurturing, and consistent support.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, maintaining compliance with regulations, achieving positive outcomes for young people, and driving a culture focused on quality, stability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of a childrens residential home
  • Ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop a skilled staff team
  • Promote a safe, therapeutic, and child-centred environment
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care delivery
  • Manage performance, occupancy, and service outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with professionals and stakeholders
  • Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience within residential childcare
  • At least 2 years experience supervising and managing staff
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
  • Proven record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
