Location: Various locations across West Yorkshire\n Pay: From £13.00 per hour (dependent on experience)\n Shifts: Days, nights, and sleep-ins available\n Contract Type: Temporary, Temp-to-Perm, and Permanent Opportunities\n\nAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people?\n\nLeader Health and Social Care are currently recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our growing team across West Yorkshire.\n\nYou will be working in small, nurturing residential homes supporting children and young people aged 8–17 years who may present with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, challenging behaviours, or complex backgrounds.\n\nYour Role:\n\nProvide day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to children in placement\nEncourage positive routines, education, and healthy relationships\nSupport young people in line with their individual care plans\nMaintain professional boundaries and promote a safe, stable environment\nComplete daily logs and reports in accordance with Ofsted and company standards\nWork collaboratively with senior staff, social workers, and other professionals\nRequirements:\n\nMinimum 6 months of recent experience supporting children or young people in a residential or similar setting (essential)\nLevel 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential\nFull UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle – preferred\nA genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential\nAbility to remain calm, patient, and professional under pressure\nFlexibility to work a range of shifts including long days, nights, and sleep-ins\nFull UK Driving Licence would be advantageous\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive hourly pay and weekly pay\nFlexible working hours to suit your lifestyle\nTemp, temp-to-perm, and permanent options\nOngoing training and professional development opportunities\nDedicated compliance and support team\nPlease note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
