About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will support children and young people with their day-to-day needs in the home, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. You will work with individuals who may present challenging behaviours,
Key Responsibilities
Support daily routines, including cooking, cleaning and personal care.
Promote a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
Manage and respond to challenging behaviours calmly and professionally.
Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
Set clear boundaries, expectations and structured timetables.
Support mental and physical wellbeing through meaningful and engaging activities.
Work collaboratively with social care and healthcare professionals.
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all young people at all times.
Essential Requirements
Knowledge and experience of working in a Childrens home.
Youth worker experience.
Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
Strong communication skills and a calm, resilient approach
