MS521 - Lead Chiller Engineer

Location: Andover

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Lead Chiller Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for repair & maintenance of chillers, air-handling units and pumps ready for hire. You will also assist with the day-to-day running of the chiller test & repair department.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain chillers on return from hire.
Manage a small team, managing discipline, attitude, time keeping, absence.
Diagnose faults and repair of chiller, and related equipment.
Ensure all paperwork and F-gas Documentation is correctly filled in and filed.
Obtain details and order parts for repair as required.
Ensuring equipment is clean and in good condition for hire.
Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

Experience as a Lead Chiller Engineer / Supervisor.
F-Gas Certificate.
City of Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration.
3 years’ experience in Refrigeration / Air-conditioning.
Full UK Driving License.
Good time keeping / Work ethic.
Desirable:

Electrical Qualifications / experience.
Forklift License.
Previous experience of HVAC hire industry
