Job Title: Civil Design Engineer (Contract) Location: Cardiff (Office-Based) Contract: 6 Months | Outside IR35 Rate: Negotiable Hourly Rate Start: Immediate
Role Overview I'm working with a consulting engineering client who is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to support ongoing residential development projects from their Cardiff office.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
\n
\n Highway and drainage design (S104 / S38 / S278)
\n
SuDS design and SAB approvals (Wales)
\n
Flood Consequence Assessments (FCA)
\n
Residential Development Design
\n
Proficient with AutoCAD 2D
\n
Experience using Civil 3D and InfoDrainage (or MicroDrainage)
\n
\n
Required Experience
\n
\n Minimum 3-5 years' experience in civil engineering design for residential developments
\n
Strong understanding of Welsh SAB process and drainage strategy development
\n
Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver accurate technical outputs
\n
\n
