Calling all Civil Engineers — we are currently working with an international Engineering consultancy specialising in energy, Maritime, building and infrastructure projects. Our client is looking for skilled Civil Design Engineers with experience in both drainage and highways to work on Sizewell C. The ideal candidate must also have site-based experience.


- Hourly rates Outside IR35 ((large rate variation depending on experience).

-On-site working arrangement – Suffolk


Responsibilities:

-Resolving site queries and coordinating design solutions to mitigate delays on site.

-Collaborating between the office-based structural team, the site-based teams, the Contractor teams and the wider Stakeholder teams

-Working independently and as part of a team to produce reports and presentations to an excellent standard.

-Recording and communicating observations and variations of structural site works as they progress


Requirements:

- Drainage and Highways design experience

- Relevant software experience – Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, Micro-drainage, Info-drainage etc

- Experience as a Site-Based Engineer, Resident Engineer or Clerk of Works

-A Bachelor's degree (BEng / BSc) or a Master's degree (MEng / MSc) in a relevant discipline

-Ability to provide mentoring to more junior team members as a line manager, and show a willingness to be part
