Salary: £50,000 to £57,000

An opportunity has opened for a Civil Engineering Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join a company based in Sittingbourne, Kent. The ideal candidate will have excellent estimation experience within Civil Engineering or similar and be comfortable with tendering, budgeting and cash flow.

The role is office based in Sittingbourne and you will be working on construction and groundworks projects in the commercial sector.

Civil Engineering Estimator Key Skills:

* Experienced Estimator within Civils or similar

* Experience using estimation software – ideally Causeway but not essential

* Background in budgeting, cost analysis, tendering and forecasting

* Excellent engineering / construction materials knowledge

* Any quantity surveying experience would be a bonus

* BIM experience

* Any CAD knowledge would be a bonus

Civil Engineering Estimator Responsibilities:

* Preparing estimations and tender quotations for groundworks, structural and construction projects

* Preparing bill of quantities, tender submissions and specs

* Ensure tenders are fully compliant to client standards

* Update price lists for labour, materials etc

* Occasional site visits

* Liaising with customers, suppliers and full supply chain
