I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy that delivers high-quality infrastructure and development projects across the UK. What you will be doing as a Civil Engineering Technician
In this Civil Engineering Technician role, you will be responsible for:
·Developing and using Revit and CAD skills in line with project requirements and internal technical standards
·Preparing high-quality Revit and Civil 3D models and drawings that are clear, accurate and unambiguous
·Working closely with Engineers and Senior Technicians to deliver coordinated civil engineering designs
·Attending site to assist with surveys, inspections and construction progress reviews
·Ensuring drawings and models comply with internal procedures, technical notes and QA requirements
·Checking your own work thoroughly before submission and supporting wider QA processes
·Highlighting health and safety considerations within designs to the Project Engineer
·Managing and maintaining drawing records and ensuring timely internal and external issue of information
To succeed as a Civil Engineering Technician, you will ideally have:
·Experience using Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD within a civil engineering environment
·An understanding of UK civil engineering design and drawing standards
·A methodical approach to producing and checking technical information
·The ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams
·A proactive mindset and willingness to continue developing your technical capability
Salary and benefits
·Salary: dependent on experience
·26 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
·Additional 5 days' holiday after 5 years' service
·Birthday leave (if it falls on a weekday)
