Hays Civil Engineering are seeking a qualified Civil Operative to support works within a live high-voltage substation environment. This role requires a Competent Person with the correct National Grid authorisations and a strong awareness of safety protocols for HV access.

Your New Role

You will control access to a live substation in accordance with National Grid NSI Safety Rules, ensuring all personnel, vehicles, and plant enter and exit safely. Responsibilities include supporting groundworks, managing controlled access routes, and maintaining safe working conditions across the substation area.
