Position: Site Manager Sector: Water / Civil Engineering Location: Main Road Infrastructure Project Employment Type: Contract (CIS)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and coordinate works on a major water-sector project involving complex civil and infrastructure operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily site activities, manage subcontractors, ensure safety standards are upheld, and deliver works to programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise site operations across multiple civil engineering disciplines

*

Oversee roadworks on a main road, ensuring minimal disruption and full compliance with traffic management requirements

*

Lead and coordinate coffer dam construction activities

*

Manage reinforced concrete basement construction, ensuring high-quality workmanship

*

Oversee pipelaying operations within the water sector

*

Ensure full reinstatement of site and roadway to required standards

*

Prepare and review RAMS, permits, daily briefings, and progress reports

*

Liaise with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities

*

Maintain high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance

Essential Qualifications & Experience

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Required

*

EUSR tickets – Required

*

Strong background in water-sector civil engineering projects

*

Experience managing roadworks, deep excavations, concrete structures, and pipelaying

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills

*

Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple work fronts
