Where will you be working?
We are seeking an experienced Civils Delivery Lead to work across our South East business unit, which currently covers frameworks for Anglian Water and Southern Water, with the potential for works to be secured from other water company clients in the South. This is a critical leadership role requiring immediate engagement to support complex infrastructure projects across water and wastewater sectors. We are particularly interested in candidates who are interested in pursuing a career beyond this role, at Contract Director level or above.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects such as shafts, tunnels, large diameter pipelines, pumping stations, and associated works
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight.
  • Collaborate with design teams on solution development, optioneering, and design integration.
  • Drive performance, safety, and compliance across all project phases.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and ensure alignment with framework objectives.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience managing complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
  • Experience in design processes, including solutionising and optioneering.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
  • Direct design experience or involvement in design development.
  • Familiarity with strategic frameworks and collaborative delivery models.
