Job Description

The Project\n\nAs an experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor, you will ensure that the work is carried out on time and to the company quality standards.\n\nThis role will be managing small civils project nationwide. The Client will pay for accommodation and expenses when working away.\n\nMust be based in The North West as their material warehouse is based in Manchester and will require weekly pickups.\n\nRequirements \n\nFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;\n\nFirst Aid\nCSCS Card (Gold or Black card)\nDriving Licence\nSMSTS / SSSTS \n\nFor this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;\n\nExperienced as a Site Manager / Supervisor on civils infrastructure schemes for at least 5 years in the UK\nIncluding groundworks, concrete, kerbs, roads, bridges, earthworks, foundations\nHappy to work away from Home is necessary \n\nThe Role\n\nJob Title: Site Manager / Supervisor\nLocation: Nationwide Travel - NW based\nDuration: Long Term Freelance / Temp to Permanent\nReporting to: Project Manager \n\nDuties\n\nResponsible for quality of works on site \nMaintaining Health & Safety standards on site\nAttending and Participating in Project meetings\nCompleting briefings and toolbox talks\nProducing RAMS and brief the workforce to ensure understanding\nManaging the work force in the delivery of complex civil works\nRead and understand drawings and take accurate material take off's\nEnsure work is being completed on time and within budget\nComplete Construction phase plans, Environmental plans, ITPs and Quality plans\nLiaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required\nAdministration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns \nManaging and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project\nManaging subcontractors by ensuring the programme of works are completed\nPlan, coordinate & motivate effective deployment of allocated personnel and resources \nUpdate weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & share with Project / Contracts Managers \nPromote & implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies \n\nFor more information or to apply please contact Matt (phone number removed) or the Civils Team on (phone number removed)
