Job Description

The Best Connection Scotland are presently recruiting numerouse Class 1 (C&E) drivers for our of our National Client for the following positions around various depots within Glasgow and the West.

Doubleman trunking to Birmingham

Singleman AM trunks to Aberdeen/Inverness/Carlisle

Tramping from Carlisle to Birmingham

Job Role:

  • Monday to Friday or Sat/Sun
  • Client can accommodate most preferred shift patterns
  • Varied start times from 4am onwards
  • Ongoing work
  • Tramping based in Carlisle trunking back and forth to Birmingham.

Requirements:

  • This role will require a minimum of 6 months experience
  • Valid C&E licence, CPC and Digi Card
  • Max 6 points with no major endorsements, e.g DR, DD, IN etc

Benefits:

  • Excellent Rate of Pay
    • £18.15 first 8hrs/£23.52 after 8hrs
  • Enhanced rates at the weekend
    • Sat - £23.52 + £25.25 O/T after 8hrs
    • Sun - £26.25 all hours
  • Ongoing good clean work
  • Pension contributions paid
  • Holiday pay accrued separate
