Job Title: Class 1 (C+E) Container Driver

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing logistics operator. We are seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Container Drivers to join their team based in Manchester (M32). This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, stable work with a reputable company specialising in container haulage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport shipping containers to and from UK ports
• Complete timely deliveries and collections to customer sites and distribution centres
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure road-worthiness
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and digital records
• Comply with all driving legislation, tachograph regulations, and WTD rules
• Represent the client professionally at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
• Previous container haulage and port experience (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of port procedures and systems is an advantage
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
